We’re proud to announce that DOOM 3: VR Edition has been nominated for Best VR/AR Game at the 2022 Canadian Game Awards!
In 2021, the chainsaw-revving, demon-splattering madness of DOOM 3 was reborn in virtual reality as DOOM 3: VR Edition. Bringing this classic action/horror title to PlayStation VR was an all-time highlight in Archiact’s long history; we worked closely with our friends at id Software and Bethesda Softworks to infuse the game with all-new diegetic mechanics, upgraded weapons in glorious 3D, and full support for the Aim Controller.
Best of all, the title immediately snagged a nomination for VR Game of the Year at the 2021 VR Awards! Having our work make a Game of the Year shortlist never gets old, and we’re beyond excited for DOOM 3: VR Edition to make an appearance at the 2022 Canadian Game Awards.
